Search engines have a particular way of analizing a web site and asigning status to it. Back in the early days of the Internet you could fool a search engine, for example, by writing a keyword fifty times at the top of your page. The search engine would see that and “be impressed” and conclude that yours was a site that really had a lot to say bout tractors or chicken or whatever it was you wrote and therefore give you a good ranking. However, search engines have evolved a lot since then. These days pulling a stunt like that is bound to get you black listed - that is the exact oposite of SEO.
