A turn of phrase well executed paints a picture and sets an imagination on fire. When in rhyme and meter, the turn of phrase becomes a melody, and when delivered within its natural rhythm, it can set the spirit to soaring.
As a form of expression, verse can express a full range of emotion, as well as the heart and soul of the one from whom it bursts forth. With this in mind, I share some that has burst forth.
